BUILD TO SUIT
Due to the shortage of available buildings to meet current demand, it has become necessary to expand into developing build-to-suit projects to fill the void. Some of the newer projects initiated are industrial spec buildings on Ridley Road, Hannover Drive, Seapark Drive, a new medical office building on Martindale Road in St. Catharines, and a new corporate business park in Niagara-on-the-Lake at Glendale Avenue. Several additional projects are currently in the planning stage.
RETRO-FIT
With our extensive resource base we have been instrumental in several retro-fit projects including the Boreal Lab building 76,000 sq. ft. conversion for Beatties Basics, the 30,000 sq. ft. industrial expansion of 626 Welland Avenue, the 50,000 sq. ft. expansion/conversion of 234 Bunting Road to accommodate the Region of Niagara, the current retro-fit by Goodwill Industries of the former Stokes Seeds Page Street building for a senior citizens residential complex and community centre, and the Brighton Business Complex, formerly Bazaar Novely, a 300,000 sq. ft. conversion to a multi-tenanted industrial complex.
